The Economic Cooperation Committee (OCC) aims to strengthen and enhance the Turkic States’ financial cooperation among themselves and with global partners. Since its establishment, which is based on many key documents dating back to 2011, a total of 13 ministerial and 15 working group meetings have been organized under the auspices of the Organization of Turkic States. Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Turkic Investment Fund, and the Trade Facilitation Committee are the main mechanisms of the committee. In today’s partly unstable economic environment, the OCC gains undeniable importance. Global supply chains are being reworked, and regional trade corridors like the Middle Corridor are another important aspect of the committee. With our agenda item, we will also be focusing on Turkic States’ one of the Turkic States ‘ most important issues, the energy sector. Delegates will wear the shoes of diplomats trying to rearrange the supply chains while pursuing the bonds of Turkic States and the World.
Agenda Item: Revisiting the policy of Turkic States on energy suppliers, overseeing existing pathways and deciding energy requirements.
